This is a sapele wood table designed by Hara Yoshiteru and produced by Tendo Mokko.

The plywood legs and tabletop are made from the bare minimum of materials, making this a highly rationally designed low table. Its simple form, without any unnecessary detailing, embodies a refined, practical beauty. The edges of the tabletop are rounded in line with the plywood legs, giving it a gentle impression and a smooth feel. Although it was released in 1984, it is still a popular, long-selling product that is used in many hotels, inns, and Japanese-style rooms in ordinary homes.
