The Hodaka series by Hida Sangyo Kittsuki was created based on the concept of the Windsor style, which suits the Japanese body type and lifestyle, and has been a long-selling series since its launch in 1969. Depending on the year of manufacture, there are versions made of oak and beech wood. The design was created by Tadashi Morioka, who was active at Takashimaya at the time.
